The awards listed below exist to recognize the work of Canadian career professionals. Some of these awards may require candidates to be recommended, to submit an application or to be a member of an association. CCPA Research or Professional Article Award, The

The article must be published in COGNICA or the Canadian Journal of Counselling and Psychotherapy in the two years preceding the award event.

CCPA Resources And Training Materials Award, The

To recognize the development of counselling resources and training materials in Canada.

CCPA/Marsh Student Bursary Award

Marsh, the CCPA professional liability insurance broker of choice, has provided two $500 awards to support graduate students research in Counselling.

Certificate of Appreciation Award (OSCA)

The Certificate of Appreciation Award recognizes outstanding contribution to Guidance and Career Education in Ontario by individuals/groups who are community partners.

Champions of Mental Health Awards

The annual Champions Awards bring together political decision makers, business leaders, members of the national media, sponsors and other stakeholders to celebrate individuals and organizations whose outstanding contributions have advanced the mental health agenda in Canada in the past year.

Chris Campbell Memorial Study Grant, The (CCPA)

Practicing Atlantic Area school counsellors who plan to study towards a Master’s Degree with specialization in Guidance and Counselling. OR Practicing Atlantic Area school counsellors who wish to undertake relevant professional development in Guidance and Counselling. Relevant is defined as professional development which will have an immediate and measurable impact upon the applicant’s counselling practice. OR Atlantic Area students who are studying towards a Master’s Degree with specialization in Guidance and Counselling.

Colin Wasacase Scholarship (ONECA)

A $1000.00 scholarship will be awarded annually to an aboriginal (status, Non‐status, Métis and Inuit) Post Secondary COLLEGE student and to a (Status, Non‐status, Metis and Inuit) post‐secondary UNIVERSITY student, who have successfully completed their first year in a full‐time program in the field of counselling.

Corporate Recognition and Educational Institution Recognition (CACEE)

To annually recognize one company and one educational institution that has shown exemplary support and contribution to CACEE at a national level.

CPC Awards of Excellence: Outstanding Canadian Career Leader

This award recognizes outstanding contributions to the advancement of the Canadian career industry as a prominent leader within the profession.

CPC Awards of Excellence: Outstanding Canadian Online Profile Developer

This award recognizes outstanding strategic online/virtual profile development abilities such that set the strategist apart from other developers.
