The awards listed below exist to recognize the work of Canadian career professionals. Some of these awards may require candidates to be recommended, to submit an application or to be a member of an association. Awards of Distinction (MSCA)

Awards of Distinction are awarded to retired counsellors who continue working voluntarily to provide a high level of dedication and commitment to further the efforts of school counsellors to the children of Manitoba.

BCCDA Award of Excellence

Often, the people around us do amazing feats or achieve extraordinary accomplishments. Do you know such an individual within our group? This is your opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the excellence and leadership qualities of career practitioners in BC’s Career Development sector.

Bev Abbey Service Award – BC Chapter -CCPA

In 2009, the BC Chapter of CCPA established the Bev Abbey Service Award to recognize and remember the late Bev Abbey, and to honour her generosity, selflessness, and many contributions to CCPA.

Building for the Future: Endowment Fund

The Canadian Career Development Foundation (CCDF) and the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) sponsor an endowment program which promotes innovation in the field of career development.

Canadian Recognition of Prior Learning Awards

  The Recognizing Learning Awards recognize outstanding achievement in the field of prior learning assessment and qualification recognition. The Award Selection Committee is comprised of members of the CAPLA Board of Directors.

Career Convergence Recognition Award (NCDA)

This award is designed to recognize an author’s contribution of an article published in the NCDA web magazine, Career Convergence.

Career Development Facilitator Champion Award (NCDA)

The NCDA CDF Champion Award recognizes an individual who may or may not be a career practitioner and who has promoted the Career Development Facilitator program.

Career Development Practitioner Achievement Award

The New Brunswick Career Development Association’s Career Development Practitioner Achievement Award is designed to recognize and reward an individual who has demonstrated commitment to one or more of the following elements. These elements need to be addressed in the nomination form. The advancement of career development through research, theory, practice or leadership. Innovation and creativity in program development or service delivery. Role-modelling leadership and vision within the organization and/or career development community. Ongoing professional development and learning. Representing the optimal model of a caring person and professional whose knowledge, skills and talents are valued by clients and colleagues.   The deadline for nominations is October 1, 2018. View

Career Education Citation Award (OSCA)

The Career Education Citation is an award presented by OSCA to individuals, groups, or associations who have created, contributed to or delivered career education material of high quality and considerable value to students.

Career Professionals of Canada is committed to setting the standard for excellence in the Canadian employment and career industry. Recognizing outstanding individuals in our profession is one of our most important activities.
