Do It Yourself Mentoring Program Toolkit

This Do-It-Yourself Mentoring Program Toolkit is specifically designed for organizations creating a mentorship program involving their employees and International Trained Professionals in the community.

Based on a joint mentorship program between LASI World Skills and a corporate partner.
In Spring 2011, World Skills established a partnership with an organization headquartered in Ottawa to design and implement a 3-month mentorship program. The idea was initiated by a former client of World Skills who succeeded at landing a job at the organization. The goal of the mentorship program was to help newcomers reach their career aspirations with the help of a mentor and to learn strategies to overcome employment barriers.

Organization: Immigrant-Employer Learning Partnerships (IELP)

City: Ottawa
