A three-year grant from the Counselling Foundation of Canada was awarded to Queen’s University Career Services in 2007 to support the An Integrated Model for On-Line and In Person Career Counselling project. Queen’s is one of Canada’s leading universities with an international reputation for scholarship, research, social purpose, spirit and diversity. Their mission is to prepare students and recent alumni in three areas, counselling, employment assistance and career information.
As the EO Employment Services model begins to reach full maturity, there will be an increased need for service providers to modernize service delivery by fully implementing Web based self serve systems. This training provides the knowledge and skills required to successfully execute self-serve employment systems of today.
KCDC offers career counselling support through the Career Services website and community access centers throughout Northern Saskatchewan. Counsellors, students and community members planning their career, seeking employment or training, or considering a career change are able to find information on employment projections, current employment opportunities and a range of resources and information on the site.
Therapy Online began offering its services in 1995 on a modem-accessed local bulletin board service. Since the beginning, we have worked hard to be leaders in the field of online counselling.
