This course offers an overview of several assessment tools commonly used to facilitate career decision-making (ie. tools that assess skills, interests, values, and personal style). Focus (and hands-on experience) will be on “A” level assessments (i.e., assessments that do not require graduate level training in statistics and psychometrics).
Advanced Mediation Skills Certificate Course Training: This is a 14 hour course building on the training from Mediation Skills Certificate Course Training. It focuses on: reframing skills, advanced problem solving, issues of power and culture in relation to mediation.
This is a two-month full-time study program leading to a foundation certificate in public speaking. Students will complete the minimum of 144 hours of classroom instruction in oral communication, business presentations, speech delivery and vocabulary expansion.
A small business counsellor certification program where one is able to learn on a self-directed basis. Course content includes counselling and client assessment, business planning, bookeeping, e-commerce and a code of ethics.
Assocation of Service Providers for Employability and Career Training, offers the Employability Skills Curriculum training. This training is for career development practitioners who are working with multibarriered clients. This training workshop is an excellent opportunity to review the curriculum and develop various tools and techniques for putting it into practice with your client group.
Certificate in Career Development Centre for Psychology Overview The University Certificate in Career Development is a 30-credit (traditionally one-year) program offered at the senior undergraduate level of study. It is intended primarily for practitioners who have some related work experience in a human services field as it builds on related competencies already developed.
