Logging in and Registering for an Account

Why do I need to register/login to an account?
You need to register/login if you want to subscribe to any of ContactPoint’s features such as the Bulletin newsletter; participate in any discussions, blogs or chats; or subscribe to the Canadian Journal of Career Development.

If you want to edit any of your submissions, you will need to login to access that information.

How do I create an account?
1. Click on the Register link in the left-hand menu under the Login heading
2. Fill in your contact information
3. Click on Register when you are finished
4. Your password will be sent to the email account specified. After receiving your password, you will be able to log in.

How do I login to my account?
1. Enter your userid and password in the Login fields in the left-hand menu
2. Click on Login

How do I logout of my account?
1. Click on the Logout button in the left-hand menu under the Login heading

What do I do if I have forgotten my password?
1. Click on the Forgot Login? link in the left-hand menu under the Login heading
2. Check whether you need a reminder for you Userid or Password
3. Click on Send Username/Password and your reminder will be sent to your email address

Searching the Site

How do I search for information on the Contact Point website?
The quickest way to access information on the site is to go to the search tool located in the upper-right hand corner of the screen.
Type your keywords in the box and hit the Enter key.
